Duke University’s basketball programs have once again demonstrated their recruiting prowess, with four future Blue Devils earning selections to the prestigious 2025 McDonald’s All-American Games. This accomplishment underscores Duke’s continued influence in collegiate basketball and highlights the promising talent set to join both the men’s and women’s teams.

Men’s Basketball Selections:

The men’s team boasts three selections:

  1. Cameron Boozer: A 6-foot-9 power forward from Columbus High School in Florida, Cameron is currently ranked No. 3 in the class of 2025. He has been instrumental in leading his team to an 18-3 record and a No. 1 ranking in the MaxPreps national top-25. Cameron committed to Duke on October 11, 2024, choosing the Blue Devils over Miami.
  2. Cayden Boozer: Cameron’s twin brother, Cayden, is a 6-foot-4 point guard ranked No. 16 in the ESPN top 100. Sharing the backcourt at Columbus High School, Cayden has showcased exceptional court vision and leadership. He also committed to Duke on October 11, 2024, alongside his brother.
  3. Nikolas Khamenia: A 6-foot-8 forward from Harvard-Westlake High School in California, Khamenia is ranked No. 21 in the ESPN top 100. His contributions have propelled his team to a 13-game win streak and a No. 2 national ranking. Nikolas committed to Duke on October 22, 2024, over programs like UCLA, Gonzaga, Arizona, and North Carolina.

These three players were also selected to represent the USA at the Nike Hoops Summit on April 12, where they will compete against a team of international players.

Women’s Basketball Selection:

On the women’s side, Emilee Skinner, a 6-foot point guard from Ridgeline High School in Utah, has been selected to play for the West team. Ranked No. 7 in her class per ESPN, Emilee has led her team to a 19-0 record and a No. 1 ranking in Utah. She is the 10th McDonald’s All-American to sign with Duke under head coach Kara Lawson.

Duke’s All-American Legacy:

With these selections, Duke’s men’s basketball program now has 95 McDonald’s All-American picks all-time, the most of any school. Current Blue Devils Cooper Flagg and Isaiah Evans participated in the game last year, continuing the tradition of elite talent wearing the Duke jersey.

Looking Ahead:

The 2025 McDonald’s All-American Games are scheduled for April 1 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The women’s game will tip off at 6:30 PM ET, followed by the men’s game. These events will offer Duke fans a preview of the exceptional talent set to join their teams in the upcoming seasons.

Duke’s success in securing commitments from these standout athletes reflects the program’s enduring appeal and its commitment to excellence. As these players prepare to showcase their skills on a national stage, anticipation builds for their future contributions to the storied legacy of Duke basketball.
